Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Agreement”) carefully before using BigLoads.

By accessing or using the BigLoads website, posting a listing, or contacting a trailer owner or renter through the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

The Company may revise these Terms at any time. The last updated date will always be shown at the top of this page.

  1. Definitions

“Company,” “BigLoads,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Micawber Media LLC, doing business as BigLoads, the owner and operator of the BigLoads platform and all related services.

“Platform” or “Website” refers to https://www.bigloads.com and all services provided through the site.

“Owner” refers to any user who lists a trailer on the Platform.

“Renter” refers to any user who inquires about, books, or rents a trailer.

“Listing” refers to any trailer listed on the Platform.

“Trailer” means any towable equipment available for rent.

“Tow Vehicle” refers to any properly equipped vehicle used for towing.

“Rental Period” refers to the agreed-upon rental duration.

  1. Platform Purpose

BigLoads is a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows Owners to list trailers and Renters to contact Owners directly.

BigLoads:

Does not govern rental terms between Owners and Renters

Is not a party to rental agreements

Does not provide insurance or warranties

Does not collect commissions on rentals

BigLoads does not guarantee bookings, traffic, income, or rental activity for any Owner.

Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, rental terms, safety requirements, deposits, and cancellation policies.

  1. Messaging & Contact Information

BigLoads allows free messaging between Owners and Renters.

Owners and Renters may freely exchange:

Phone numbers

Email addresses

Websites

Social media accounts

Business names

Any necessary contact details

BigLoads does not restrict or penalize communication. Unlike other rental platforms, BigLoads does not fine or punish users for sharing contact information or helping Renters connect.

Public Contact Display (Paid Plans Only)

Owners may choose to publicly display contact information on listings and profile pages by subscribing to:

Haul Star Plan

Big Rig Plan

Displayed fields may include phone number, email, website URL, social media links, business name, and “As Seen on BigLoads” attribution.

Free plan users may still message freely but will not display contact information publicly.

  1. User Account Requirements

Users must:

Provide their full legal name (first and last)

Maintain an accurate phone number and email

Keep their contact information updated

Only the first name and last initial appear publicly by default unless upgraded to a paid plan.

  1. Subscription Plans

BigLoads offers optional subscription tiers granting additional features, including:

Public display of contact information

Visibility enhancements

Verified badges

SEO-friendly outbound links

Subscription fees are billed through Stripe. Users may cancel anytime, with changes taking effect at the end of the billing cycle.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

  1. Owner Responsibilities

Owners are responsible for:

The accuracy of trailer listings

Rental rates, deposit amounts, and any additional fees

Trailer condition, maintenance, and safety compliance

Verifying the Renter’s ability to tow

Handling all rental agreements and liability

BigLoads is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of Owner content.

  1. Renter Responsibilities

Renters agree to:

Use a properly equipped tow vehicle

Follow weight limits and manufacturer guidelines

Operate trailers safely and legally

Pay all rental charges, deposits, fees, fines, and damages

Return the trailer on time

Renters must be 18 years of age or older to rent or operate trailers.

  1. Deposits, Damage, and Late Returns

Owners may require a deposit. Owners may withhold deposit funds if:

Damage occurs

Trailer is returned late

Equipment, accessories, or parts are missing

Fees or fines remain unpaid

Owners may charge additional rental time for late returns.

  1. Cancellations

Owners may define their own cancellation policy on each listing. Renters are responsible for reviewing cancellation terms before booking.

  1. Payments & Chargebacks

Payments are processed by Stripe. BigLoads is not responsible for:

Stripe outages

Stripe disputes

Chargebacks

Failed or declined transactions

Owners and Renters agree to resolve any Stripe-related issues directly with Stripe.

  1. Liability & Insurance

BigLoads does not provide insurance coverage. Owners and Renters are responsible for maintaining their own insurance policies.

BigLoads is not liable for:

Accidents

Injuries

Property damage

Misuse

Illegal activity

Disputes between users

Agreements made outside the platform

Owners operate independently and Renters assume all risks associated with using a trailer.

  1. Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

List unsafe or unregistered trailers

Tow with an unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle

Use trailers for illegal purposes

Misrepresent identity or eligibility

Impersonate other users

Post false information

  1. Repossession

If a trailer is not returned:

The Owner may arrange retrieval

Renters may be responsible for repossession costs

Law enforcement may be notified

  1. Advertising & Promotion

BigLoads may use public listing content (photos, descriptions, city names, prices, etc.) for marketing or promotional purposes.

Owners retain ownership of their content.

  1. Termination

BigLoads may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or engage in harmful conduct.

Users may request account deletion at any time.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior written or oral agreements.
